The Chancellery

In accordance with the Regulation on the organisation and administrative functioning of the High Court of Cassation and Justice, The Chancellery of the High Court of Cassation and Justice is headed by the President of the High Court of Cassation and Justice.

The offices of the President, the Vice-Presidents of the High Court of Cassation and Justice and the First Assistant Magistrate, function within the Chancellery.

Within the Chancellery function the International Relations and Protocol Department.

 

 International Relations and Protocol Department

 International Relations and Protocol Department performs the following tasks:

  • performs the work of the High Court of Cassation and Justice in the field of international relations;
  • carries out all instructions received from the President and Vice-Presidents of the High Court of Cassation and Justice in the field of international cooperation;
  • ensures the cooperation of the High Court of Cassation and Justice with foreign institutions;
  • ensures the drafting and dispatch of correspondence with foreign countries;
  • prepares documentary material for delegations of the High Court of Cassation and Justice travelling abroad;
  • arranges passports and visas for travel abroad;
  • organises protocol events of the High Court of Cassation and Justice and provides simultaneous translation for them;
  • receives and accompanies foreign and national delegations within the framework programme approved by the President or Vice-Presidents of the High Court of Cassation and Justice;
  • translates foreign correspondence, judgments rendered by the European Court of Human Rights, reports received from international organisations and materials for delegations of the High Court of Cassation and Justice;
  • performs any other work and all tasks in the field of international relations ordered by the President and Vice-Presidents of the High Court of Cassation and Justice.

The Chancellery of the High Court of Cassation and Justice is composed of assistant magistrates, specialised auxiliary staff, affiliated staff, civil servants and contractual staff, as established by the Staff Regulations.

The staff of the Chancellery of the High Court of Cassation and Justice is subordinate to the President of the High Court of Cassation and Justice and the Vice-Presidents and is coordinated by the First Assistant Magistrate.
