The Information and public relations office ensures relations of the High Court of Cassation and Justice with the public and with mass media in order to guarantee transparency of judicial activity, pursuant to the law.
The Information and public relations is managed by a judge appointed by the president of the High Court of Cassation and Justice, who also fulfills the role of spokesperson.
Judge NASZ Csaba Bela was appointed to manage the Information and public relations office and to fulfill the role of High Court of Cassation and Justice spokesperson.
Pursuant to the Regulation regarding the administrative and organization and functioning of the High Court of Cassation and Justice, republished, with subsequent modifications and completions, the Information and public relations office has the following tasks:
- ensures the receipt and settlement of requests regarding the public interest data pursuant to:

- Law no. 544/2001 on the free access to public interest data and its application norms;
- Ordinance no. 27/2002 on the regulation of petition settlement activity;

- ensures the organization and functioning of the information-documentation point, pursuant to the law;
- keeps records and receipts issued petitioners regarding the payment of copy costs of materials requested;
- drafts the yearly report of the High Court of Cassation and Justice regarding access to public interest data;
- supplies to journalists, promptly and completely, any public interest data regarding accreditation of the High Court of Cassation and Justice;
- grants, without discrimination, within maximum two days from the registration, accreditation of journalists and mass media representatives;
- ensures, in a regular manner or each time when the activity of the High Court of Cassation and Justice has an immediate public interest, issuance of press releases, notes, organization of press conferences, interviews or briefings.
The Information and public relations office elaborates all works regarding access to public interest data and relations with mass-media ordered by the president and vice-presidents of the High Court of Cassation and Justice and fulfills any other tasks entrusted by them.
