The General Registry

The staff assigned to the General Registry of the High Court of Cassation and Justice performs the following duties:

  • receives, registers and forwards administrative correspondence to the offices of the President, Vice-Presidents, Presidents of Chambers and other departments of the Court other than Chambers;
  • sorts correspondence received by the chambers at the High Court of Cassation and Justice and delivers it to the addressees, on a delivery note and under signature;
  • dispatches administrative correspondence by post or, in urgent cases, by procedural agent, on the basis of a register;
  • draws up a monthly statement of the sums spent on forwarding correspondence;
  • sorts incoming proofs of service and forwards them to the departments, on the basis of records and under signature.
